A Peaceful Place…

When It’s Morning, We Feel In The Air, Still The Morning Dew.

At the end of this path we find the Parque das Queimadas.

In this Park There Are Chairs And Tables, Where We Can Make A Small Picnic.

It has a small cafe, where you can find cakes and other delicacies from Madeira.

There is a house on this site, the Casa dos Queimados, which is connected to the construction of the Levada do Caldeirão Verde, which began in 1877 and was completed around 1904. It is, therefore, related to the Cyclopian Task that went through the Insular Centuries, Since About 1425, To Tame Nature And Enjoy Its Riches, Like The Abundant Water That Must Be Channeled And Used In Agriculture. Apart from the extensive, and often dangerous, work of channelling the water and building the levadas, especially since the 19th century, many out-of-town walkers were ecstatic at the sheer beauty of the gullies and mountains of the North Coast, making the Quinta Acciaolly and Figueira Hotels especially, first on the North Coast and nerve-racking spots, home to the difficult and awesome views of the misty north. These Landscapes Were Then Often Drawn And Recorded Along The Xix Century, Especially By The English, Creating Travel Albums.

It Has An Adapted Toilet.

In the Park Itself, There Is A Space Where There Are Ducklings, We Can See And Feed, Many Birds Usually Come, Especially To Steal The Crumbs We Leave Behind.

The Company, Madeira Acessivel By Wheelchair, has this route as the best, for those who want to enjoy nature, it is possible to do it with our All Terrain Chair, where you will not have big problems to do it safely.
