This route starts in the village of Choupana in the high part of Funchal in the south of Madeira Island and takes the tourist on a pleasant trail full of green shades of the island’s forest.
There are several species of flora and fauna to observe along this trail which follows the levada. Enjoy the natural sound and surroundings of this wonderful walk.
