Agricultural space, gardens of aromatic herbs and a variety of exotic animals are some of the attractions of this Quinta located in the parish of Prazeres.
Inaugurated in October 2000, the Quinta Pedagógica dos Prazeres is a project of education, awareness and appreciation of the rural environment, promoted by the local parish, which offers visitors a variety of teas and preserves the species of the flora of the region. Another aspect of this project is the creation of a space to house some animals, allowing visitors to contact them.
The Quinta also develops a series of activities related to nature and the environment, such as the Feast of the Blessing of animals (January), the Feast of the Auction of the Roosters (June), the Feast of the Wheat Threshing Show (July) and the Feast of Cider (September).
